Setelah Telur, Idola Baru di Instagram: Pohon - Detikcom

Jakarta - Dalam beberapa hari belakangan, sebuah postingan Instagram tentang menanam pohon menarik perhatian. Kepopulerannya diprediksi akan menggantikan foto telur yang beberapa waktu lalu meramaikan Instagram.

Adalah produsen pakaian ramah lingkungan Tentree, yang membuat postingan tersebut. Sebuah foto pohon berlatar hijau dijadikan Tentree sebagai alat kampanye menanam pohon yang akan mereka lakukan.

"Double tap to plant a tree", demikian tulisan pada postingan tersebut. Awalnya, Tentree berjanji akan menanam satu pohon untuk setiap 10 like yang didapatkannya di foto tersebut. Pohon ini akan ditanam di Indonesia.

Netizen pun beramai-ramai berpartisipasi dalam kampanye ini. Alhasil, target awal 500 ribu pohon berhasil terlampaui dalam waktu singkat.

Pada update terbarunya, Tentree menyebutkan bahwa mereka akan menanam 1 juta pohon jika sukses mendapat 20 juta like.

Tentree tentu saja punya kepentingan bisnis dari kampanye ini. Dengan viralnya foto tersebut, Tentree mendapat follower baru dan exposure lebih besar yang akan berdampak pada bisnisnya.

Namun yang jelas, upaya Tentree patut diapresiasi. Meski menanam pohon tak semudah menekan tombol like di Instagram, perusahaan ini melibatkan followernya untuk sebuah kegiatan peduli lingkungan.
