TEMPO.CO, Paris - Warga yang ditinggal di kawasan Rue Cremieux di Paris, Prancis, meminta pemerintah kota untuk menutup jalan yang melintas di depan rumah mereka pada malam dan akhir pekan.

Warga, yang tinggal di kawasan dengan rumah bercat warna-warni ini, merasa terganggu karena banyak orang berdatangan ke depan rumah mereka dari sekadar untuk berfoto untuk Instagram hingga membuat video musik.

“Kami duduk mau makan dan minum tapi di luar rumah ada sekumpulan orang sedang berfoto. Ada penyanyi rap yang membuat video musik selama dua jam tepat di bawah jendela rumah kami. Juga ada pesta kaum lajang perempuan yang berteriak-teriak selama satu jam,” kata kata Antoine, yang merupakan warga setempat kepada France Info dan dikutip News pada Selasa, 12 Maret 2019.

The street is bordered with colourful private houses. This place gives the impression that we are outside of Paris, somewhere in a small Provincial town or in a French seaside resort . The 35 identical houses that border the street look like English terraced cottages (hello Notting Hill). The residents are proud of their street and have ensured that it is well maintained. It was the residents’ initiative to paint their façades with gentle pastel colours: green , blue , purple , yellow , pink ... and it's so photo-friendly. No wonder why this place became very popular with Instagram! But let’s face it, the street residents would surely prefer that their spot was left unknown.
