1 'A.J. and the Queen'

Premiere date: January 10

Seriously though, don't skip over this one. RuPaul stars as Ruby Red, a thriving drag queen who suddenly gets their small fortune stolen. When forced to go back on the road and perform to make up for the lost money, Ruby meets a tough-talking 10-year-old named A.J. (Izzy Gaspersz) in need of support. Premise talk aside, if you're a RuPaul fan, you're going to want to give this a go.

2 'Next in Fashion'

Premiere date: January 29

Project Runway fans, this is likely going to be your next big obsession. The competition series features 18 designers who face off in various fashion challenges in hopes of impressing judges Elizabeth Stewart, Eva Chen, and others. Making things even better, Queer Eye's Tan France and world-renowned model Alexa Chung co-host the new show.

3 'Queen Sono'

Premiere date: February 28

In Netflix's first African original series, Queen Sono is a thrilling drama about an unconventional secret agent (played by Pearl Thusi) who fights crime while also dealing with a lot in her personal life. On social media, Pearl wrote that she could not wait for "every woman on this continent, and actually on this planet, to meet Queen Sono.”

4 'Self-Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker'

Premiere date: March 20

For a powerful show with a tie to history, turn to this project starring Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer. The four-part limited series pays tribute to the iconic historical figure Sarah Breedlove, known as Madam C.J. Walker, who pushed back against the forces of racism, gender bias, and more to become one of America's first female self-made millionaires. The series is based on the book On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker, and will also star Tiffany Haddish, Carmen Ejogo, and Blair Underwood.

5 'Selena: The Series'

Premiere date: TBA

Remember the 1997 film starring Jennifer Lopez that took the world by storm? Soon, Netflix is giving us more of the story behind Tejano's biggest superstar (played by Christian Serratos this time around) in an upcoming drama series. There will be two parts to this series, each chapter including six episodes.

6 'Ratched'

Premiere date: TBA

Based on the ever-popular novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Netflix has given the green light to the Sara Paulson-led series, which follows Nurse Ratched's origin story as she progresses into a complete monster. Probably not for the faint of heart, but if you're into bone-chilling dramas, you'll want to check this one out.

7 'Hollywood'

Premiere date: TBA (sometime in May)

Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy described Hollywood as "a love letter to the golden age of Tinseltown" set in the 1940s — in other words, think Humphrey Bogart, John Wayne, Jean Harlow, Lucille Ball, and Vivien Leigh. While not a ton is known about the plot at this point, we do know that the show has cast Darren Criss as the leading man, as well as Jeremy Pope and David Corenswet. Per what Ryan told The Hollywood Reporter, the series looks at "Hollywood and the sex industry, and how absolutely everything has changed and nothing has changed."

8 'The Eddy'

Premiere date: TBA

With Academy Award-winning La La Land director Damien Chazelle at the helm, you know it's going to be good ... especially if you're a fan of musicals. The contemporary drama takes place in a Paris club and centers around Elliot Udo (André Holland), a jazz pianist from New York City who is forced to grow up when his 15-year-old daughter shows up to his club unannounced.

9 'Space Force'

Premiere date: TBA

Space Force is the brainchild of Office showrunner Greg Daniels (not to mention, the series has Steve Carrell starring in and producing it). The title is a nod to President Donald Trump's June 2018 proposal to establish a military "space force." According to the trailer, the show follows a fictional space force defending "satellites from attack" and performing "other space-related tasks ... or something." Already, you can get a pretty good idea of the type of humor to expect.

10 'The Baby-Sitters Club'

Premiere date: TBA

A nostalgic kick, indeed. Netflix is bringing the beloved book series starring the gals of Stoneybrook, Connecticut to life via a 10-part series. Clueless star Alicia Silverstone is front and center in the program, as is Royal Pains's Mark Feuerstein. Per Deadline, the storylines focus on "entrepreneurial girls’ ventures and friendships, maneuvering the launch and success of their business while staving off competition and overcoming various growing pains along the way." What's more, episodes touch on topics facing modern teens today.
